Well, for those who doubt it, I grabbed this photo back in June, on about the 11th fairway at Balboa Golf Course, right in the heart of "downtown" San Diego, California.   The coyote had approached one of the members of our foursome, and I'm guessing that the coyote thought I was going to pull something edible out of my bag for it.  It came over to me, right at my feet.  I was reaching into my golf bag for my camera and, the coyote recieved no hand-out, merely its picture taken.
