Backyard Ponds and water features abound in Los Lunas...

 Ponds and the sound of falling water attract all sorts of furied and
feathered creatures. While most folks enjoy watching the antics of the muskrat
(shown above), pond owners usually try to drive them away before winter sets in.
Muskrats love to burrow. Many times beneath pond liners, causing damage to
them.
