Some artists like to paint on small surfaces. But painting on a piece of watercolor paper
cut to 4" x 6," taped to a watercolor board designed to accomodate a full or half-sized
sheet is just plain dumb. And it's virtually impossible to use a board that big if you're stopped
along the roadside, trying to capture a fleeting scene, behind the wheel. It's not necessarily alot of
fun to use a great big board to support a small piece of paper in a studio setting, either. So we
decided to address the problem.
How 'bout a minature watercolor board that's small and lightweight? Yet tough enough to take
just about any type of punishment that can be dished out in a day's painting, out in the field.
