The Olathe Poste Celebrates America the Beautiful: Sisters
The beauty and innocence of two young sisters, captured in their Sunday "best" and obviously full of mischief by photographic artist, Bill Porter, rejoices the intimacy of sisterhood in a timeless image.
This stamp art presentation of "America the Beautiful: Sisters" includes a 7" x 5" black and white reproduction of the original color image, used for the stamps. A sheet of 50 stamps, issued in 2004 for the series by The Olathe Poste is the central point of focus for this unusual and enchanting piece, that emphasizes the point of just how wonderful fine art can be when miniaturized to the size of postage stamps. A nameplate in brushed gold finish identifies the art and artist, inset into the double mattes of Blue Parchment and Jet Black.
Each piece of this limited edition stamp art is backed with heavy, 3/16" foam-core and will fit any standard, 16" x 20" frame. Plus, the art work is double signed, front and back by the artist/stamp designer. Further markings of authentication are included on the reverse side. Please remember, this is a limited edition - only 50 copies are avaiilable.
